This is a custom blaster design I made and printed for my ongoing bounty hunter/Mando project. I wanted something with a wild west feel, and the FS-21 is what I designed. The design incorporated several inspiring features that I liked from existing designs, and is a sort of sci-fi/wild-west fusion. I test-printed this model several times and the final product is something I'm pretty happy with (fun to twirl around like a space cowboy). 
 
This prop comes as a raw, unassembled print in ten pieces.
 
The dynamic "reloading" component is held in place with a pin and magnets. When first assembled, the prop's dynamics will be stiff as tolerances are high; over time with use, the "reloading" action will become easier to achieve and the dynamics will smooth out.
 
Each of these blaster props is a raw print, and will require cleanup, priming, and painting to make a finished prop. I print these in Atomic PLA v2 filament. Atomic PLA is a better print material; it is weighty and more impact-resistant than regular PLA (although be careful; I stress-tested one print and it did break apart after being thrown across the room). 
 
I use Starbond CA glue to put them together and it is much tougher than superglue. Total length when assembled is about 12.8 inches.
 
I have added a safety cap and a flash hider in this version. The safety cap comes printed in orange filament; it is NOT meant to be pressed all the way into the barrel; leave a gap as shown in the pictures so you can get it off again. Both cap and flash hider are designed to insert and remove from the barrel with friction fit.
 
I look forward to pretending I'm a bounty hunter with a good blaster at my side in a galaxy far away.
