This is a custom blaster design; it is my iteration of the famous Westar-35, carried by Mandos across the galaxy far away. I wanted mine to be an even heavier, tougher version; I liked the blockiness of the animated version but also appreciated the live-action look... this falls somewhere between, with a form that is meant to project power and rugged dependability.

After designing and printing two protoytypes of my idea, I arrived at this third version. It prints in three main sections, with four smaller pins and detail parts, and is very easy to assemble.

Each of these blaster props is a raw print which is NOT painted (photos show my personal painting scheme), and will require cleanup, priming, and painting to make a finished prop. I print these in Atomic PLA v2 filament. Atomic PLA is a better print material; it is weighty and more impact-resistant than regular PLA.

I use Starbond CA glue to put them together and it is much tougher than superglue. Total length when assembled is about 14 inches.

I have added a safety cap. The safety cap comes either painted orange, or printed in orange filament; it is NOT meant to be pressed all the way into the barrel; leave a gap as shown in the pictures so you can get it off again. Cap is designed to insert and remove from the barrel with friction fit.

THIS IS A PROP.
